Record breaking participation for Secondary School Floorball Cup 2025
The 2025 Secondary School Floorball Cup has wrapped up with record-breaking participation and an electric atmosphere of school spirit and sportsmanship. Held in Wellington, the annual tournament saw its biggest turnout yet, with 246 players from 17 schools competing across 22 teams and five competitive grades.
This marks a significant leap from previous years, with 64 more players and 4 more teams than in 2024. The growth in female participation was particularly impressive, rising from 34 in 2024 to 84 in 2025, reflecting the rising interest and inclusion in the sport across all year levels.
